    Interview: Mike Jones, DomainTools

    Mike Jones
    is the VP of Product at DomainTools. [
    Mike leads the Product Management, Product Marketing, UX, and Business Development efforts at DomainTools. He brings over 20 years of experience in the security industry, and has a real passion for building products that customers love and driving significant growth for the product lines he leads.


    Prior to joining DomainTools in 2017, Mike led Cisco’s cloud-based security efforts with the Cisco/OpenDNS Umbrella product family, drove creation and expansion of the market-leading Cisco ASA 5500 Series of security appliances, and led Cisco’s security software buying programs. Earlier in his career, he led popular products such as PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) encryption solutions, McAfee server and gateway anti-virus products, and early products in the security orchestration space.


    When not combatting the latest cybersecurity threats, you can find Mike at concerts, playing pinball, or traveling the world with his wife. Mike has a BS degree in Computer Science from Purdue University.
