    Interview: Robb Tracy, Sybex (Wiley)

    Robb Tracy

Robb H. Tracy (CNE, CNI, A+, Network+, Security+, LPIC-1) has been a professional IT consultant and trainer since 1996. He is a cofounder of Nebo Technical Institute, Inc. where he untangles network disasters, defends networks against the bad guys, and teaches new admins how networks work. Robb has produced many online IT training videos and authored several IT books. He also teaches live on-site IT classes.

Robb has a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology from Utah State University. There he learned the principles of teaching and learning from some of the finest minds in the field. He also served on the CompTIA Network+ Certification Advisory Committee where he helped design the Network+ industry exam objectives.

When not rushing to finish yet another IT project, Robb can be found relaxing on a high mountain stream contemplating the meaning of life (or what to cook for dinner).
